Like someone was only in my life to be the hero. He wanted to save me. Selfish is what he was. He wanted the applause and glory. He wanted me to be obligated to him. He tried to pimp my love. Instead of listening to me and giving me what I really needed he listened to his own ego and tried to feed me what HE thought I hungered for. Do you know how belittling that is? His actions told me he did not think I was wise or intuitive or human enough to tell him what I needed. He didn’t know me better than I knew myself but his ego convinced him that he did. Ugh.
